The DOT Payroll System manages biweekly payroll activities for over 15,000 employees in the Department of Transportation and updates the DOT legacy accounting system with personnel expense information. Unlike other state agencies, the DOT Payroll System also must keep more detailed time records because employees often work on multiple projects that use both state and federal funds.
